Make Your Own Title Eerily Similar to My Last One Here.

Hey world! I guess the marathon is continuing after all! Welcome to day...uhh...five. Six....Five. Fiveorsix. Welcome to day fiveorsix! Announcement: Zoraida Cordova is having a blog tour for her new book about which I am sosososo excited, and I've signed up to be a part of it! I might get the chance to review the ARC! Might being the keyword - I still don't know.  But it's still very exciting. And, hey, I've recently won a contest (still haven't gotten my signed book in the mail even though in four days it will be a month) so maybe I'll win this. In other news, we ran out of sugar and in case you're wondering, sugar substitutes have this weird sour ending - like a Sour Patch Kid in reverse - and thus, lots of honey is needed in your tea, and even then it's not entirely awesome. Just saying.

So, we're getting closer and closer to the present every day now so it actually wasn't that long ago that I finished this book called Teardrop by Lauren Kate. It is the first book in the Teardrop series, although the second book isn't out yet, but I think it will soon. In addition, I'm under the impression that Mrs. Kate's other series is being made into a movie. I'm thinking about reading it, but I'm not sure because it's described as darkly romantic, but also dangerously exciting, so it's not clear. Ooo, I better hurry with this review, somethings about to happen! Amazon link, okay audible.

Summaryish: Eureka never ever cries. Ever. But now, with a boy who's been stalking her for her entire life finally makes an appearance, she comes closer to crying than she ever has before. Then it gets interesting. Her inheritance from her recently deceased mother only complicates things as mysteries are revealed and her whole life is shaken. I'm in a hurry now, so you're going to have to deal with that not-so-great summaryish.

Review: I didn't have great expectations for this book (hey, that's another book), that's why it was at the bottom of my pile! But I am so happy that I was completely wrong. This turned out to be a captivating and mystifying read of absolutely epic proportions. I just found out I have 15 minutes left until the thing happened. Huh. Life is hilarious that way. Back to the review. It had excitement balanced with just the right amount of almost irking suspense. Oh, and here's something you might find interesting - I was totally convinced for the last hundred pages that I knew exactly how it was going to end and then...it didn't happen. Entirely. It happened mostly, but the biggest part of my prediction was totally (thankfully, I would have been so mad!) wrong. Okay, next section.

Words to the Characters:

Eureka: Where in the world did you get a name like that? I'm not criticizing, I actually like it, but - wow I was typing so fast my fingers are tingling. (ADHD)

Ander: Okay, I understand completely, but it's still incredibly creepy.

Brooks: Yeah, didn't see THAT coming! (Not)

Okay, maybe I'll see you tomorrow for day sixorseven or maybe not. Either way, the next review will be embraceable. Bye!
