Hey world! I'm back for more! I finished my chips, the day is planned, and life in general is great. Mostly because I'm talking to you, fellow reader. I see no need for this paragraph to extend further, let's get reviewing!
So, a little less than an hour ago I finished Timelock by Davis Klass. The finale of the Caretakers trilogy. I've reviewed all three books here on the blog! The one before this is right here which may or may not lead back to the first. I'm not sure. Sometimes I forget the links. But I will not forget this Amazon link!!! Let's see, what's else....hmm...nothing. Moving on.
Summaryish: It's been a year since Jack's first adventure, and he's trying to forget the past...that is to say the future. But, when he's sent to his birth-time against his will, it's pretty hard to ignore the fact that your are destined to save the world. This time from the melting polar icecaps. But first, he must rescue his birth father from the Dark Lord's prison. Wow. Great summaryish going on today!
Review: I give it a three and a half out of five. It feels kind of like Mr. Klass got bored or something and didn't put as much into this book as he did the others. I also miss the alliteration and the "look that one up, my friend, but not now"s. Plus, again, the sentence fragments were found only in the first chapter. And although I don't mourn that loss, I feel like if you announce there are going to be some, there really ought to be some. Other than that, it was a fantastic read! It was great to see all my old friends again! And I really enjoyed the non-stop action!
Words to the Characters:
Jack: I think you should forgive your parents, they were just trying to save the world.
P.J.: Good choice.
Okay, sadly that's all I have for today. I hope to see you next time for some good old fashioned good vs. evil!

And So The Lovely Wackiness Ends.
Hey world! So, it's not Tuesday, in fact it's Thursday, but I decided to wait and just review two books today. Which is what I'm doing. I'm also sharing a bag of chips with my bird and planning the rest of my day. Do not try that at home, kids. I am a highly skilled multitasking professional. You can however try it in the park, which is not home, and therefore not included in the disclaimer. But do so at your own risk, I highly doubt there's a lifeguard at the park!
So, a few days ago I sadly finished the fifth and last book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy," Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams. There is a sixth book, but it was written by Eoin Colfer and we're boycotting him so we can't read that one until I decide the boycott has gone on long enough. Mwahahaha! The power is driving me crazy! I decide when to read Eoin Colfer or not!!! Mwahahahaha! Okay, got that out of my system. The forth book was reviewed here and the ones before that can be found in a little trail leading all the way back to the first one. And, last but not least, the Amazon link is existing right here!
Summaryish: Okay, I'm trying to think of a nice way to summarize this, but, as you know, it's hard to summarize a Douglas Adams. Hmm. Click hum, click hum. Um. Got it!! Aw man, lost it. Oh! Got it again! This time around, just as soon as Arthur, after losing his beloved Fenchurch in a hyperspace incident, is just beginning to enjoy life again, it spirals out of control. First, by finding out he has an emotionally distraught daughter, a new dangerous version of the Guide has come out, and the Earth is most likely going to be destroyed again. Of course, he never really does figure out exactly what's happening, but knows that something to flip his life over again definitely has occurred. And that's my summaryish. More ish than summary this time.
Review: I'm really sad that this series is ending because I loved it so much! This part especially! Everything that happens is so fast paced and hard to follow and just a touch unintelligible that it was perfect! And written in the elegant, distant scientific babble that it was made it all the more enjoyable! The only word that can describe it is beautiful! I wish it could go on forever! But, like the Artemis Fowl series, I guess this one is must end too. But that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it.
Words to the Characters:
Arthur: You know, I've spoken to you, like, four other times, and I can't think of anything else to say. Except that your little outburst seemed so unlike you, what happened?
Random: So how did that name come about? I'd like to hear that story.
Okay, that's it for this post. I better get started on the next one!

I'm Flying In The Rain! Okay, Those Aren't The Real Lyrics And Only These Guys Can Fly.
Hey world! It is so great to see you after...a day. Sure, it hasn't been that long, but I did miss you!!! Since we last met, I organized my library books, finished one, started another, lovingly inspecting the books I own for dust and bent covers, and made plans for seeing a movie tomorrow. But that last thing really has nothing to do with this blog at all, though, does it?
So, I don't really remember when I finished reading Max by James Patterson, but it was definitely today, and it was certainly recently. What I do remember is that it is book five in the Maximum Ride series. For me this series is rapidly drawing to a close, I believe I only have three books left. Anyways. I don't really feel like getting the link to the last book in this series that I reviewed, even though I'm really proud of the title, so if you really want it, you can just scroll down twelve or thirteen posts. But, in preparation for this post, I've already gone to get the Amazon link, which is located here, so you don't have to worry about going without that!
Summaryish: Back yet again from the limbo between books in a series, Maximum Ride and her flock of mutant bird kids are entertaining folks to support a company thing that is trying to save the planet. But, when yet another enemy comes out of the blue, pun intended (you'll get it when you read it), they are caught up with the US Navy and perhaps the worst ecological disastrophe they've tried their hardest to avert yet. But, oddly enough, there are only two kidnappings in this book. Mr. Patterson seems to be slacking.
Review: I'm having mixed feelings here. On one hand, I really like this series and all that goes along with it, but on the other hand, it is falling deeper and deeper into the realm of unbelief. Hm. I think I've used that metaphor before. But it's true. I liked it, it was fun to read, engaging, and action packed. So, I don't have any real complaints. Just an underlying feeling of discontent.
Words to the Characters:
Max:
Gazzy: I like blowing things up to. But sadly, this generally occurs in my imagination. Even more sadly, I'm blowing up my thoughts and then I forget what I'm going to say to Max and end up leaving her space blank.
Okay, this post is over. I might see you again tomorrow, but I'm not entirely sure.

Oh, And Her Last Name Is Pronounced Core-doe-va. I Think.
Hey there world! Have I got a doozy for you today! I went to the library today! But this book is from my last visit, not this one. I did return it today, but I wish I could keep it forever. There are some other things I could say in this, my introductory paragraph, but it's almost dinner time, so I'm not going to.
So, I went to bed late two nights in a row, causing me to be behind on my reading and I actually finished this book, which is called The Savage Blue by Zoraida Córdova by the way, exactly as the car in which I was reading pulled up to the front door of the library. What a coinkeedink. Snap, I just got taco all over my L key. Oh well. Anyways, Amazon links are always fun, so here, have one!
Summaryish: This book encompasses the continuing adventures Tristan Hart, merman Sea Prince extraordinaire. It mainly focuses on his quest to find an oracle who can give him another piece of the legendary Trident. But he's not the only one looking for it, and his competition is catching up. Wow! Did you read that? Best summaryish ever! I know I'm bragging, but wow, I never summarize that well. I sound like a back blurb. Maybe even a jacket flap. Woo!
Review: Geez!!! I'm speechless! I cannot think of words that would describe the level of awesome this book has surpassed. I was shocked and surprised and dizzy throughout the whole thing. I didn't see any of it coming! It was just one three-sixty after the other! And that's all I can think of to say. And yet, it does the book no justice.
Words to the Characters:
Tristan: I wish I were a merperson. That would be so cool!
Kurtomathetis: Oh. Snap. Wow. I am just as surprised as you.
Okie dokie, this post ends here. I'm not sure what's going to happen next, I haven't organized my books yet! Bye!

Forerunners Remind Me A Teeny Bit Of Vulcans.
Hey world!!! Wow, it has been a while! I'm pretty excited because I get to go to the library soon!! I only have about 2/3 of a book left, and it's super-de-duper and will be over really soon! Then I'll be bookless! Ah! But then I can go to the library, and all will be well. Well, if you're ready to talk about a book, then begin reading the next paragraph...NOW!
So, I just finished this book titled Halo: Cryptum by Greg Bear. It is the first in the Forerunners trilogy, excuse me, saga. Judging by the ads in the back, it has something to do with the Halo video game? I don't know for sure because I only play video games if they are logic puzzles. I just like reading about aliens so I picked the book up during my browse. Maybe the video game is about aliens too! Who knows? I don't. This young paragraph's life is coming to a premature end with the Amazon link.
Summaryish: This book was a little hard to follow, but I think it's about a young Forerunner, which is a humanoid alien species, who discovers a lot about himself while he tries to save the world from a deadly plague people call the Flood. I think that's actually a series overview, this particular book is about him trying to figure out what the Flood is, exactly, and why it exists. Stuff like that. Heads up, the ending is a little bit sad in a happy way. Hey, I wonder if that is where the word sappy came frome. SAd and haPPY. Sappy. Hm.
Review: Like I said before, this book was a little hard to follow because our dear narrator Bornstellar, and all Forerunners in general, is very technological. It's as if he's narrating from a distance, carefully removed from the story and yet totally involved in it as well. That's why I think it was beautifully written, but also a little too easy to tune out and start thinking about turkey sandwiches and just exactly how long until it's lunch time because I have some great chips that taste fantastic and I would very much like to eat them. I also think it was a great story, and I'm looking forward to the next books in the series, but I'm also not excited about them because I'm worried I won't get much out of the story if my attention wanders, which is very easy in this series, and I star thinking about the periodic table of the elements and why gold's letter-thing is au. It might have something to do with Latin. Anyways, to recap, great book, hard to follow, lovely story, attention wandering.
Words to the Characters:
Bornstellar Makes Eternal Lasting: I was kind of dissapointed when you mutated, it's like you weren't you anymore. I felt like I lost a friend. Sad.
(the) Didact: This comment is directed towards the final few pages: Creepy!
Okie dokie, that's about it. Join me next time for something I have been waiting for for a LONG time! Eep!

Wow. Just Wow. (Redone)
Hello world! Welcome to my non-review! I rarely ever break out the Wow. Just Wow, but this book certainly deserves it. I thought it would be a nice little sci-fi, but it turned out to be a fantastic little...Non sci-fi. It was just plain old fiction I guess. But more colorful. It provokes thought, and made me realize there is more to literature than science fiction. Not much more, but still. Anyways. It's called Crusader by Edward Bloor. The Amazon link can be found right about here. And my signature can be found right about....

Has It Been 80 Posts Already?
Hello world!! It has just been so long since I have blogged!! I'm kidding, it was yesterday. But I did miss you! That's why I finished a book really quickly so that I could blog again today!! I'm kidding again, it was just because it was really short. I mean, I finished this book just two minutes before it would have been twelve hours! I would have finished sooner and blogged yesterday, but I was watching Star Trek.
So, I just finished a book, actually a play is more like it, called The Comedy of Errors by, you guessed it, the Honorable William Shakespeare! And boy was it hilarious! But I'm getting ahead of myself, the review paragraph is still some ways off. As far as I know, it's not a series. I think Henry IV and Henry VI are series though. A parting gift from this paragraph to you, the Amazon link.
Summaryish: This is going to be hard to explain, but two sets of twins were born on the same night, one set to be slaves to the other. Coincidentally, they kind of split up in a ship wreck and took the same names. So, when one of the twins becomes curious about his long lost brother he sets off to find him. Finally, he makes it to the same town as his twin brother, resulting in several humorous cases of mistaken identity. Good times, fond memories.
Review: At first, I was worried this would be Shakespeare-funny, and I wouldn't get the jokes because they would have something to do with old timey pop culture or something. But in the end, I was laughing my head off! Especially the part about the baldness, classic! What else is there to say? How about this, it wasn't hard to understand at all! Just a few thees and thous, no biggie. I like the way sometimes it rhymed and sometimes it didn't. To conclude, I absolutely adored it!
Words to the Characters:
Antipholus(es): Why are y'all so mean to the Dromio twins? It's not very nice to beat people. Maybe you should try stern chastisement and positive reinforcement.
Dromio(s): I like y'all's good humor. Even when y'all are being beaten up, you can still make jokes!
Okie dokie, that's about it for today. See you next time with what I think is a sci-fi dramedy. Bye!

Split Series, And A Double Sided Review. Interesting.
Hello world! How's the weather where you are? Here it is perfect! 72 degrees! That's my favorite temperature! With sunshine and a nice breeze, it is just to die for! But don't actually die for it, then you wouldn't be able to enjoy it! Speaking of enjoyment, I enjoy books, so let's talk about them!
So, somewhere around 11:30 last night I finished this book graced with the title Wired by Robin Wasserman, last book in the Skinned trilogy. You could call it Torn, of the Cold Awakening trilogy, and you would still be entirely correct, because this is split series. That's what I like to call them anyways. Basically, it just means: same book, different title. Good news! I've reviewed this ENTIRE trilogy on my blog! That is becoming more and more common these days, because I've been blogging since, like, October or something. Here's the penultimate book in the series! And from there, you'll find the first. Last things last, Amazon link!
Summaryish: I've been working really hard on my summaries lately, and I think this one's a winner! Not just because it doesn't give anything away but still summarizes, but because I worded it perfectly! It's worthy of a jacket flap! Here it is: One year ago, Lia died. Then she woke up in a new mechanical body. But with rising conflict between organic humans and Skinners, or mechanical humans, it is up to Lia to save the mechs with as little org death as possible. But doing that might just mean sacrificing herself. See! It's just fabulous!
Review: I hate to admit it, but I'm actually happy this series is over. The trilogy is great, really nice reads, but there was something about them that made me less excited about them than, say, a Scott Westerfeld or a Kat Falls. While reading this, the series denouement, I found myself thumbing through the pages on the right with a sigh, thinking "Sheesh, I have to get through all of these before it's over?" when usually I'm thumbing through the pages on the right with a sigh, thinking "Aw man, I only have to get through all of these before it's over?" See what I mean? I read the book, and I enjoyed it, but it was in the last half of my pile for a reason. Speaking of which, I may need to begin strategizing my next library visit...
Words to the Characters:
Lia: You seem moody. I guess you have reason to be, but nobody likes a moody heroine.
Jude: Question: How did you get all the way to Chindia and back? I thought ships and stuff were heavily guarded and you were wanted.
Yeah, that's about it. Join me next time, and be ready to Shake up some Speare! Bye!

Run For Your Life! Aliens Are Attacking!
Good afternoon world! Lovely to see you! I'm really excited about today's post because it combines all my favorite book topics! Aliens, survival and bad guys! Woo! We'll talk more about that in a paragraph or two. What else should I say in this my introductory paragraph? I don't know! So let's move on!
So, less than ten minutes ago, I turned the last page of this book called POD by Stephen Wallenfels and, seeing it was the About the Author, realized it was done. I was really sad about that. I'm also sad that I can't find Stephen's website. So I don't know if it's a series or not. I hope it is. But anyway, I know you're just dying to purchase this book, so I would suggest clicking here for the Amazon link.
Summaryish: Where to begin? How about with aliens descending from space, or at least their spaceships, and zapping every human in sight with beams of light! All the other humans who survived the initial attack are then forced to remain indoors. Twelve year old Megs struggles to survive in a parking garage, and fifteen/sixteen year old Josh with his father and rapidly diminishing rations in their home. That's all I can say...
Review: Snap! This book was riveting! From the first page, it's impossible to put down! I loved it so much! Hours can vanish in what feels like seconds while reading this fast-paced, action-packed, miracle of a book! No, I'm not exaggerating. Well, maybe a little. It's not quite a miracle, it doesn't change your life that much, but it makes you think about what limits you would break to survive. And that's all I have to say.
Words to the Characters:
Josh: I formally challenge you to a game of Scrabble.
Megs: I'm not really a cat person, I'm more of a bird person.
Ummm....yeah, nothing else to say is coming to mind. See you later!

Yeah, I'm Having Title Writer's Block Again.
Hey world! Lovely to see you today. Didn't I post yesterday? I'm having memory lapses. I think I did. But I don't like to dwell in the past, so I'm just going to say 'Hurrah for today!' Anyway, I'm going to cut this paragraph short before the afterglow of having a finished book so fresh in my mind fades into National Treasure, and all the excitement that goes along with that movie.
So, about 12 minutes ago, I closed a book called Zenith by Julie Bertagna, and rushed to see what time it was so I could log that and then blog. After doing that, and writing what I have so far, I decided to tell all my readers that this is the second book in a trilogy, the first book of which was reviewed here. Then, I finished the odd past-tense paragraph with the Amazon link to the book I was reviewing.
Summaryish: So this book is all about Mara after she and her Treenester, urchin, slave, and boat camp friends escape to Greenland. Plot-twist: Tuck, a "gypsea" who lives on a floating bundle of ships and barges, is Landed with them. It's also about Fox and his continuing struggle to survive in the netherworld with Candleriggs while trying to bring down the New World. Yup, that's about it.
Review: I really enjoyed this! It took a while to get going, but once it did I was hooked! There was one thing I didn't like though: transitions. Sometimes, things would just appear out of nowhere. Like on pages 173-174, Mara is suddenly out of the Weave and participating in the conversation like she was never connected in the first place! It made me flip back between pages, thinking I had missed something, but nay! Julie herself missed something! Anyways, all-in-all it was a fantastic read that I could devour over and over again like I had never tasted it before. Unlike chocolate cake, which gets old after a while. Is it weird that I often connect liking a book to eating food?
Words to the Characters:
Mara: Mazel tov!
Fox: Sheesh, it took you that long to figure it out?
Rowan: Is it just me, or do you like like Mara?
Okie dokie, I'm leaving now. You can stick around if you want, but you'll be host-less. Bye!

-9,804 Is My Favorite Number, And It's A Multiple Of Three!
Hello world! I've been slacking off again. I don't even remember when I finished reading the book I'm reviewing today! Oh well, that's life for you. Speaking of life, live backwards is evil, what's up with that? Living isn't evil, evil people living is evil. But then not letting evil people live would be murder, and you wouldn't be any better than the living evil people. So the best thing to do is just not be evil. Okay, today's life lesson over. Now it's time to talk about books!
So, I don't remember when I finished Numbers by Rachel Ward, but I do know that it is the first of a trilogy! I also know that WarGames is a really good movie, but that has nothing to do with this. I was just watching it, that's all. Now I'm watching The Day After Tomorrow, so far it's good too. I digress. Remember when I said that the book is called Numbers? Should I have written Num8ers? Because that's what the American edition says it is. Pick whichever one you would like. Here is the Amazon link, go forth and buy.
Summaryish: Snap, this really is a good movie. Twisters destroying the Hollywood sign...fun! But back to the book. It's about this girl, and she can see some pretty crazy numbers. I'm talking about the day you are going to die. And she sees these numbers every time she looks someone in the eye. Naturally, she avoids relationships. But everything changes when she meets a guy named Spider and his grandma. One day, she goes to a place where all the numbers match...and that number is the day she is there...what does it mean? Do you like that suspense inducing rhetorical question? I kind of like those.
Review: WOW! This book was amazing! I was expecting a cute little story about OCD or something, but what I got was way better! I loved it! I loved it so much I'm going to say that again, I loved it! My one complaint is all the bad words. I don't like bad words, that's why all comments on this blog go through me before they hit the Internet, I'm looking out for bad words. Bad words are bad for a reason, they're bad. Which is why I don't like them. So that's the down side to this book. The up side is that it's great! I am especially fond of running from authorities. In stories. I would never do it in real life. Geez, listen to Jack government people.
Words to the Characters:
Jem: Your name is nice, it's sparkly like a gem.
Spider: I think I like Terry better than Spider. Oo, cool, mammoth.
Okay, that's all I have to say about this book. When is the Statue of Liberty going to float down the street? Bye!

I Liked The Cover More Than The Book, Is That Bad?
Hello world!! So nice to see you! Can you believe it's been 48 hours already? It seems like just yesterday I was predicting my future as a secret agent. Ah memories. Anyways, today is a special day! I'm not exactly sure why, but if you think about it, everyday is special! Okay, that's all for this paragraph.
So, yesterday I finally finished a book called Matched by Ally Condie, and I'm pretty sure my fantastic aunt recommended this to me! But I can't remember. Maybe it was someone else. It's the first in a series. Well, more like a trilogy. The second book is called Crossed, but the R is backwards, and the third book is called Reached, but the E's don't match. If you would like to buy this book, try clicking here. But since that was a joke, click here instead!
Summaryish: This book is all about a gal who is "Matched" to her best friend, which means she's going to marry him. But, when she sees someone else's face flash on her screen (the one that tells her everything about her Match) her faith in her Society crumbles. Then, she is forced to choose between love and perfection. Phew, that was hard. Let's move on to the next paragraph now.
Review: I was kind of excited about this book, but in the end I was disappointed. It was just a love story with the occasional suspenseful moment about placement in society. And as much as I love a whole society crumbling, it was only crumbling for one person, and it was all in her mind!! No explosions whatsoever! That made me sad. But it is a trilogy, so it might get better. It did kind of pick up at the end.
Words to the Characters:
Cassia: Why do I always capitalize the C in characters? I only asked you that because I couldn't think of anything else to say.
Ky: I wish I could draw as well as you.
Xander: Hey, win some, lose some. Don't be sad.
Okay, I'm out of words about this book. Hope to see you next time! Bye!

One Day, I'm Gonna Be A Secret Agent. It's Been Bucket Listed.
Hello! I'm back, with my computer returned to me safely! So I thought very long and hard about this...actually, not very long, and not very hard, but I came to the same result: I am going to review this. Partly because I love reviewing books so much, and partly because I have nothing else to do. So let's get right down to it!
So, I'm pretty sure it was yesterday when I finished a book entitled Domino 29 by Axel Avian, who actually is a spy. But he could be lying. Based on his name, however, I think he should be an aviator, but being an agent is no doubt much more fun. Anyways, I'm pretty sure it's the first in a series, but if it is, no other books have been written in it. Which makes sense, since this book is still pretty new. What am I missing? Aha! The Amazon link! Here you go!
Summaryish: Where to begin! Let's start with Colt Shore discovering that his parents aren't his parents and his whole life flips upside down. Then he goes on a secret mission to protect two siblings who have a kidnapping threat over their heads. But then, his mission spirals out of control, and soon his Dominoes of Life and Decisions are falling all over the place. That was a weird sentence. But it's true.
Review: Wowzers! This was a wild ride! From start to finish, I was on the edge of my seat! Or bed, since that's where I read. I rarely ever read in actual chairs. But anyways, back to my review. I don't think I have any complaints whatsoever, except that I'm hungry. But that will soon be remedied. Which means I should wrap this post up with a few...
Words to the Characters:
Colt: I wish I were a secret agent...but then I wouldn't have time to read.
Talya: Interesting spelling of your name. It was kind of hard to get used to, but eventually I got used to it.
Okie dokie that's all for today! Join me next time for something that's not as good as I thought it would be! But it's not over yet, so it could change! Bye!

I Was Just Listening To This Song!
Hey world! Two posts are happening today! Woo! Wait a minute, maybe not, I haven't decided whether the book I may or may not review after this one is too good to review or not. Hmm. Well, I'll just write this post and think about that at the same time! Three cheers for multi-tasking! Although studies show multitasking is bad for your brain and leads to attention and focusing issues. Just something to think about. Okay, books now!
So, somewhere around yesterday I completed a lovely little tale called So Long and Thanks for All the Fish by the ever-amazing Douglas Adams! It is the forth book in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy." The sixth book in this trilogy was written by Eoin Colfer, so I may not read that one until I feel the boycott has gone on long enough. The next one in the series is called Mostly Harmless and I'll probably review here later, but for now, you can look here for the book in the series before this one. Last thing for this paragraph, the lovely Amazon link!
Summaryish: So this book is all about how Arthur Dent finally returns home to a mysteriously not-exploded Earth and falls in love with a nice lady. Then some other stuff happens, and he and the nice lady try to figure out where all the dolphins have gone, and why the Earth is still there! They meet a crazy person, and eventually Ford comes back and helps them figure out the mystery. Wow, that was a bad summary, I thought I was getting better at this? Oh well, win some, lose some.
Review: This book was absolutely fantastic! It was oddly less wacky than usual, but it was still wonderfully enjoyable! It was short, which is sad, but it's a series, which is happy! But the series is coming to an end, which is double sad. I can't wait to see what happens next! Someone take me to the library right now! Actually, I still have about 8 books left, so it's not urgent yet.
Words to the Characters:
Arthur: I would be just as confused if I found out Earth wasn't destroyed by Vogons after all.
Fenchurch: I feel like your name is a reference to something. I'll have to Google it. Or Bing it as I have recently discovered Bing is just as nice as Google.
Okay, I'll be posting again later today, but not now because I'm loaning away my computer. Hm. A borrower nor a lender be...I hope this doesn't come back to haunt me.

If I Could Fall Into The Sky Do You Think...I Would Be A Mutant Bird Kid?
Hello there! That's right, I did come back for more. I didn't even think it would actually happen, but the book I'm reviewing now was shorter than I thought it was. Well, maybe it was the same length as I though it would be, but it took shorter to read than I thought it would? I don't know. Sometimes I confuse myself. Anyways, book.
So, literally a few minutes ago, I jotted down the time and date that I finished The Final Warning by James Patterson in my reading log, rated it on a scale of one to three, and dashed over to my laptop. I hope you appreciate the dashing to my laptop part, because I tripped and almost fell in my mad rush to tell the world how I feel about said book. Wow, ever contemplated your feet before? They're very interesting. But anyways, here's the Amazon link, enjoy.
Summaryish: This time around, Max and the gang are recruited to help non-evil scientists study - and maybe even save the world from - the effects of global warming. But, a new villain has made himself known and plans to kidnap and sell the flock to the highest bidder. Speaking of the flock, did I mention they are mutating on their own and getting new skills? Wow. Blogging right after reading something really makes the summaryish easier to write.
Review: I really liked this book. And now to explain why I used a period instead of an explanation mark to punctuate that sentence. The reason is because, although I really super love the book and the series, it's gradually getting more and more wacky. And not lovable-Douglas-Adams-wacky, either, just plain wacky. As in, I really love this but it's hard to believe. Also known as, I'm lost in the story, but the story is losing me. Did that make sense?
Words to the Characters:
Total: Try barking, that might help you out with your white furred wonder.
Iggy: Mazel tov on the sight thing!
Wow, I didn't even talk to the lead-main-character, that's me being unpredictable! Anyways, I believe I said something about the lovable Douglas Adams earlier? Well, we'll talk more about him next post! Have a great day!

I Wish You A Very Jolly June!!
Hello there world!!! Boy has it been a long time! After going twenty four hours without books, I finally made it to the library. I got twelve books! I'm really excited about all of them! This is the first of that twelvogy, I hope you love it!!!
So, sometime around 10 last night, I completed the second book in the Caretakers Trilogy, Whirlwind, by David Klass. I loved the first book so much, that I'm already reading the second one only about four books away from the first one! You could just scroll down to read my review of the first one, or you could take the easy way out and click here. It was the post on which Bryan Davis commented! I feel like I'm missing something...oh yeah! The Amazon Link!
Summaryish: One minute please...Un moment sil-vous-plait...Uno secondo pleaso....Okay, I got it. Last time around, Jack Danielson saved the oceans from the Dark Lord's son. This time, he has to save the Amazon from the Dark Lord himself. But now, the Dark Lord has a grudge, which will make it all the more difficult to defeat him. Plus, the only person even capable of beating TDL (The Dark Lord) has mysteriously vanished off the face of the planet. And then there's the added plot twist that P.J., Jack's girlfriend, is also missing. Beethoven's Fifth should really start playing in the background right about now...
Review: Yowza! I loved this book! It has a great story line, not just likable, but lovable characters, and then there's all the heart-pounding action and suspense. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't seem consistent. The "pace-making sentence fragments" kind of disappear, though that wasn't a tragic loss. Also, when people from Jack's hometown see him again, they don't seem at all surprised that he's **Spoiler alert for those who have not read Firestorm** missing a finger. I also enjoyed all of the alliteration, that was fun to read. So yeah, that's my review.
Words to the Characters:
Jack: Things just work out for you, don't they?
Mysterious Kidah: You're funny, and I totally agree with you about Eko.
Eko: Still wondering about the correct pronunciation of your name, but I'm going with echo instead of eco.
That's about it for today, unless I come back later for more! Okay! Love you, bye!
