Hey world! How's it going? Guess what!!!! I now have over 1000 page views!!!!!!! Isn't that exciting? Blogs grow up so fast. Tear. But a happy tear. Anyways, I'm really excited about this post! But I'm also sad, since I don't have any other books to read now. I'm all out. I need to go to the library, but when? When oh when will this lack of books end! It's almost apocalyptic! Yikes! But to calm me down, I'm going to continue this blog post.
So, I just finished this book called Skyship Academy: Crimson Rising by the brilliant Nick James! It's the second in the Skyship Academy series! Actually, I think it's a trilogy. The third book, Strikeforce, should be out in September! I'm so excited!!!! I reviewed book one somewhere around here, and if you want to buy it, not book one, the one I'm reviewing now, it would be in your best interest to click here.
Summaryish: You know how last time I read something in this series I didn't summarize but instead referred you to another blog? Well...it's always nice to revisit the past. This book was just so awesome, I can't possibly use actual words to encompass the epic story line! So here, betray me, and visit this website. Actually it's not really betrayal, because I'm referring you there. It's Goodreads, enjoy.
Review: Wooooooowwwwwwwwww. Wow wow wow wow. Oh my goodness, this book was better than the first one. Is that even possible? I was so sad when this book ended. Imagine how devastated I was when I found out the next book won't be out until September. I'll give you a hint: Very. Okay, that's all I can think of to say.
Words to the Characters:
Jesse: I admit it, I'm jealous. Very jealous.
Cassius: I know I planned something to say to you...but no matter how much I wrack my brain, I simply cannot remember it. But I know it was remarkably witty and intelligent, as are all of my comments.
This is where I say goodbye, but do not worry, I will be back soon. I'm not sure how soon, though, because, as I have mentioned before, I need to visit the library.

How Many Different Series Books Can Be In One Series?
Hello world! It's been a while! I'm not sure how long it's been exactly, but I'm positive it's been at least a few days. Anyways, remember when it was my fiftieth review...seems like so long ago now, but it was just about 20 or so books ago, and I reviewed that one book? Well...
So I just finished this book called Saint by Ted Dekker. And it's one of the Books of History. Or is that Chronicles? I don't know, but it's one of those. It's also a Paradise Novel. Explanation: The Books of History is a series made up of three other series books of no particular order, meaning you can read them in any order you want, except for the Lost Books which have an order. Also, the Circle series must be read in a circle, but you can enter anywhere. The novels that I'm up to are the Paradise Novels, you can read them in any order, but it's recommended that you start with Sinner, which was reviewed here. Phew. That was difficult. Oh right, Amazon link.
Summaryish: You know how difficult my last paragraph was? This will be doubly so. Okay...umm...This book is about this guy named Carl who is training to be an assassin, and the people who are training him are playing all these mind games with him. Then he discovers that his name is actually Johnny, and everything he thought he knew was completely fabricated by his tormentors. This discovery leads to an epic confrontation between good and evil. Oh yeah, that was a great summary. I should make all of my summaries like back blurbs.
Review: This was amazing! The non-stop action and heart-attack-inducing suspense were perfectly balanced with all the plot twists and conspiracies. I loved it! It was a fantastic read! Although, it was a very political and that's not really my thing, but it was still great! What else is there to say? Hm. I don't think there is anything. Oh well.
Words to the Characters:
Carl/Saint/Johnny: Do you have a multiple personality disorder? I guess having your identity stripped will do that to you.
Dale/Englishman/Unman: What is with all this having three names thing? The weird thing is, it's not confusing.
Kelly: For spoiler reasons, I'm going to encode my message for you. 4-9-19-20-18-21-19-20!!!!!!!
Okay, that's it for today. Join me next time for the little sibling of an almost Wow. Just Wow. So that's be in like, what, a day?

Buzz Buzz, I'm An Alien!
Hello world! You're not going to believe this - but Bryan Davis actually COMMENTED on the post before this one. See, I told you you wouldn't believe it! THE Bryan Davis, whose books I have reviewed, not only looked at my blog, but commented on it as well! WITH a smiley face! Oh my gosh. I feel so happy! But now, on to more pressing matters: aliens.
So, yesterday at 5:31 PM I read the last words of The Assault by Brian Falkner. I briefly contemplated reviewing it yesterday, but ended up not doing that in favor of eating a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos. But in a way, I did review this book yesterday, because I thought through everything I was going to type. So, no hard feelings? Anyways, if you would like to own this book, try clicking here. One more thing that I forgot to mention earlier and am not just going to stick up somewhere in this paragraph because I like spontaneous-ism, it's book one in the Recon Team Angel series.
Summaryish: So, um, you know, aliens attacked the Earth. It happens. But more than just that happened, teenagers are being recruited to fight in the war against them, before they turn 18, because the aliens are small, and kids are small, and they want to modify the kids to look like aliens so that they can infiltrate the alien compound and discover all of their dirty little secrets. That basic overview is all I can say without giving away the secrets, like the fact that their is a traitor in the team. So. Yeah. This paragraph just ended.
Review: This book was alright. I mean, I liked it, it was a good story and all, but it was very militant, which I didn't like very much. I guess I'm just not a military kind of person, although I did enjoy learning all the code words. It was a little hard to focus when I was reading this book, and I found my attention wandering quite a bit. Mostly to the cake that was in the kitchen and how good it would taste if it were in my mouth at that very second. But, as aforementioned, it was a good book. Not quite my favourite, but I didn't gouge out my eyes in boredom and misery when I was reading it, either. So, just...alright. But, hey, you might like it, so give it a try. And, okay, whoa, there is definitely a car alarm going off somewhere near here.
Words to the Characters:
Ryan: My advice to you would be to smile more often.
Monster: You crack me up, my dude. See what I did there? My dude. Ha.
Bad news: This post is over. Good news: I'll be back in a few days with a Ted Dekker! Woo!

WELCOME BRYAN DAVIS!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello world! It's been awhile! At least two days, at most four. But let's meet in the middle and say three. Whoa, after actually checking, it really has been three days! I am the champ at guessing! Okay, you caught me, I knew it had been three days the whole time. I have good news! According to Zoraida Cordova's website, her next book will be called...wait for it...The Vast And Brutal Sea ! I'm really excited, even though I haven't read the second novel in the trilogy yet. And one more thing for this paragraph, I'm entering a contest and I need your help! At least this blog's help. I'm just going to put the links to Bryan Davis's many websites and call it a preamble. His website: http://www.daviscrossing.com/ His shopping page: http://www.daviscrossing.com/shopping.htm And his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/BryanDavis.Fans Okay, book time. OH MY GOSH BRYAN DAVIS IS GOING TO LOOK AT THIS BLOG!!!!!!! !!! !!! !! !!!!!!! Okay. Got that out of my system. Now it's really time to talk about the book. Oh, and sorry about this paragraph being high lighted weirdly, that was an accident.
So, I recently read a book called Firestorm by David Klass. It is book one in the Caretakers Trilogy (yay!) I've never read a David Klass before, but we'll talk about his first impression later. Right now I'm just going to give you a little Amazon link to go. Wow, this is a short paragraph. I wonder if Bryan Davis is reading this. Hello Bryan!
Summary: Can you give me a second here to consult my notes? I'm kidding, I didn't write any notes, but I still could use a second to work up a convincing summary that won't give away the secrets, of which there are many, of the book. Okay. I'm ready. Are you ready? I hope so, because I'm beginning in 3....2....1...Now. This book is all about this guy, named Jack, and how his whole life is turned upside down when he finds out people are hunting him down, trying to kill him. But for what reason? His is doomed not to know because the people who do know think he can't handle the truth! But, with the help of some friends that may or may not be trustworthy, he kind of just goes through life, saves the world, hangs out, fights some people. You know, everyday teenage stuff. Or at least ordinary teenage in my genre. Do you think Bryan Davis is still reading this? I hope so.
Review: Okay! Wow! This book was am-a-zzzzing. I enjoyed almost every single bit of it! But, I do have to say that the "pace making sentence fragments" got old REALLY quickly. I almost couldn't handle, but I powered through, and am completely happy that I did, because this book was great. But this is coming from the anonymous book reviewer who almost never comes across an un-liked book. But all previous reviews aside, this book was simply wonderful. I devoured every word. I wonder if Bryan Davis is still sticking around?
Words to the Characters:
Jack: Very foudroyant tale. Look that one up, my friend, but not now. Now it's time to laugh at my own joke. Ha ha. Joke.
Gisco: Is your name supposed to sound like that cooking grease stuff, or is that a coincidence?
Eko: Does your name sound like echo or eco or what? Confusing!
Well, that's all I've got for you today. Bye I guess. I wonder if Bryan Davis read this whole post, or if he stopped halfway through. Does anyone read my whole posts? Sometimes I can't even follow them. Bye!

I Love Multi-Plot Books!
Hello world! It is lovely to see you again! I hope you're having a fantastic day full of books and reading and words and all kinds of prepositional phrases! Remember my last post when I said I knew nothing about the book I was reading next? Well, I know oodles about it now and I'm ready to review it! So here I go!
So, earlier today I finished reading this book called Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan, but oddly enough, she spells her name amy kathleen ryan on her book, but the title of the book is all caps, what's up with that? It probably wasn't her idea, though, the jacket designer probably came up with it. Anyways, it's the first in the Sky Chasers trilogy, next up: Spark. I'll bet you're just dying to purchase everything I review, so click here for this books Amazon link!
Summaryish: Ummm...there are some pretty big secrets going on here, I'm not quite sure what all I should give away. Hmm. I think it just might be safe to say something along the lines of: Two ships are launched out into space to find and colonize a New Earth after our Earth gets too awful to inhabit. And apparently, space causes fertility issues, and you can't populate a New Earth with fertility issues. But one ship solves that issue, and doesn't share how with the other ship, so Ship 2 gets jealous and attacks Ship 1 and kidnaps all the young girls. Now, that's all I can say. Have fun reading it. Wait, I should have said that first, we're at the end of the paragraph now.
Review: This was a great book! I really super enjoyed it! It was fast paced, and full of conspiracies and secrets and people under suspicion! Plus, it had a great plot, and nice characters! There were good guys, and bad guys, and bad guys who were kind of good guys, and even a little bit of neutral characters! Very fun! I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, and the one after that. I might be sad when it's over though. Ending a good series is always tragic. The only thing I didn't really understand was the title, what does the word glow have to do with anything? The stars or something?
Words to the Characters:
Seth: I can't make my mind up about you, good, bad? Confusing.
Waverly: I like your name, it's really suits you.
Kieren: And you pronounce that how?
That's all for today! Come back next time for my review of yet another book I know nothing about! I think it has something to do with time travel though. Bye!

Every Once In A While, I Get Title Writer's Block.
Hey world! Bad news: I have relapsed back into my depression. Well, it's not quite depression, but it's definitely sadness. I allowed myself to listen to the Artemis Fowl theme song!! I'll admit it, I almost cried. The Eoin Colfer Boycott continues. Anyways, I think it's time to change the subject, I'm getting sad again. Reviewing time!
So, I just finished this book called Exodus by Julie Bertagna. And, great news that I just discovered, it's part of a series!! The next book is Zenith and the one after that, yet to be published, is Aurora. Nothing much else to say except that you will find the Amazon link somewhere around here. But be careful! It's really super hidden. Okay, I'm moving on to the next paragraph now, you can stick around here in this paragraph as long as you want, though.
Summaryish: Okay, this book is kind of going to be hard to summarize, there are plenty of spoilers that could be given away by a single carelessly misplaced word. But I'll try. So it's a future world, and the ice caps are melting. Actually, that's not true, the ice caps have melted. And most of the world is just ocean, there are a few islands, but those, too, are rapidly disappearing. And in comes Mara, who lives on one of those sinking islands, and she tries to convince her whole island that refuge lies in the New World, a series of floating cities Mara heard about on the Weave, or the future internet. Okay, that's all I can say.
Review: Wow! This book was great, it definitely kept me captivated until the very end, but it wasn't much of a page turner. The book was exciting and actiony and gave a glimpse into a very likely future, but it was also written kind of poetically, it was like listening to a song to read it, and I really really loved that! Let me think, is there something else I can say? I don't think so, I'm pretty sure I got it all out.
Words to the Characters:
Mara: You're very inspiring, did you know that?
Fox: You gave me a paper cut.
Okie dokie, blog post over, join me next time for a book I know nothing about but needed it to balance my bag! Bye!

Now I Want To Live On The Moon. Someone Take Me There Or I'll Throw A Fit!!
Hey everyone! Okay, I have been slacking up a storm. Or at least a gentle rain shower. I was supposed to blog 3 DAYS AGO! But on Saturday, it was 5:02 when I remembered, and late 7:41, and I was like, eh, I will until tomorrow. But then on Sunday, I was out, then reading, then writing, then sleeping and it was too late. But here I am today so that's good news! Let's jump into it!
So, I just finished this book a few days ago by the name of Crater by Homer Hickam It is the first in the Helium-3 trilogy, and we all know how awesome series of all lengths are! Round of applause to Homer for figuring that out and planning accordingly! Oh, and, little secret just between us, you can buy it here. Wow. This is a short paragraph.
Summaryish: So, in this, the first book in the Helium-3 trilogy, we meet a nice little guy named Crater, who lives on the moon, and mines it for energy along with all the other people. So he's just living it up for a while, he really likes his job, his friends, and stuff, but then he's sent on a mission by the guy who's in charge. During this mission, he must battle people of both the human race, and other species to complete what he is told to do. So, along with his gillie, he does just that. Or tries to at least. Will he make it? Will he fail? And what adventures lie for him on the way? Oh yeah. I am an expert at building suspense.
Review: This was so great! At first, though, I was a little like "Eh, this is a lot of description, which is normally good, but it's like, really super factual." But then later, I was like "Huh. This factual description is kind of relaxing and actually pleasant." Then I was like, "SNAP! Don't chapter break here! WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!" But then, even later, I was saying. "Waa. Why don't I have the next book yet?" But then I got the news that a book I had on hold at the library was in, and I felt better. So, all-in-all, A+ rating, it was brilliantly written, surprisingly un-hackneyed and fresh, and...what's the word? Melodious? Can a book be melodious? Well, if it can, this one definitely was.
Words to the Characters:
Gillie: I thought you were illegal? But you knew that, though, right? Ha ha. Joke.
Crater: Awesome name, dude.
Okay, that's it for now! See you next time for some global warming and sky cities! Sadly, though, not the book I had on hold at the library, that's still, like, 4 or so books away.

I Want To Fly So Badly!!!!
Hello everybody!!! Nice to see you! I was just thinking about books, and how awesome they are, how much I love them, and I remembered that I should probably review the one I just finished! So here I am, blogging. I really like blogging. It's fun. But, of course, the only reason I do it is for you - so you don't read bad books, so you do read the good ones. Everything I do on this blog is with you in mind. Okay, sentimental moment over, book time!
So I just finished a book called Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports by best-selling author James Patterson. I've reviewed every book in the series so far, that latest of which you can find by clicking here, but since this is only the third in the Maximum Ride series, there's not that many other posts to look at. Anyways, if you would like to own this novel, you can buy it on Amazon right here. This paragraph is getting boring, so I'm going to end it now.
Summaryish: I'm not going to tell you about how Max, Fang, and the rest of the flock are running for their lives yet again by Eraser-Robots. I'm also not going to tell you about Fang's blog, which is kicking up quite the raucous. I'm not even going to tell you about the flock getting captured once again. No. I won't tell you any of that because it would be WAY to spoilerific. And we all know I'm against spoilers. But what I WILL tell you is that there are bunches of plot twists, shocks, and surprises that will keep you guessing until the very end.
Review: Okay, because I made a solemn vow to honestly give an unbiased review, I must say I was a little disappointed. It's like the longer this series goes on, the more unbelievable and harder to take seriously it gets. It's almost as if this book is sliding down into the dusty realm of too-much-make-believe. It's getting harder to daydream about sprouting wings and taking to the skies. I don't know why though, that's just what it feels like. But I did enjoy reading it, it was a great book! In fact, I loved it! I'm just worried that the next book in the series will feel a little too...I don't even know the word. Oh, I know! Maybe it's getting a little too scientifically improbable, you know, for a science fiction book.
Words to the Characters:
Max: Sheesh, make up your mind.
Fang: So, in the book it kind of talks about how you don't say much, but in the entire series, you actually talk more than Nudge. Anyone else sensing a contradiction?
Ari: You know, you're not such a bad guy after all.
Angel: You scare me, just a little.
I'm done here. I hope you enjoyed my review! Tootaloo cockatoos! See y'all next time for a series-beginner!

I Have A Weakness For Talking Animals.
Hey everyone! It's been soooooo long since I last posted! I'm sorry! But I wanted to hold back so that I could post today! Because today is a very special day!!!! For two reasons!!! One: Wayne Thomas Batson's trilogy The Door Within was re-released TODAY! Also: Zoriada Cordova's second book The Savage Blue was released TODAY! See how special today is? VERY! I'm so excited for both of those things!
So, I just finished this book called The Prophet, the Shepherd, and the Star by Jenny L. Cote. It is the first in The Epic Order of the Seven series, but that series shoots off of The Amazing Tales of Max and Liz, so in short, it's the third book involving Max and Liz, canine and feline duo of wonder! Would you like some Amazon? Yes, please! Okay, this paragraph is over.
Summaryish: Okay, this book is pretty easy to summarize, there weren't that many conspiracies or secrets. It was just about Max, Liz, Nigel, Kate and Al on their third mission for the Maker, and their longest mission yet! It spans 700 years, from the prophet Isaiah alllll that way to the wise men. So you know, the nativity scene: Not just for Christmas anymore. That's pretty much it...
Review: I liked this book a lot! During some places it was a little boring because nothing happened, they were just waiting and eating and sleeping and talking, but other parts had me riveted! I especially liked how there was a lot of humour in the story, like when the animals were naming the constellations and saying "it would never catch on!" Good times, fond memories. Wow this is probably going to be a really short post.
Words to the Characters:
Al: Thank you so much for your simple-minded deepness. And comic relief.
Liz: Bonjour, Lizette, comment ça va? Votre mari est très amusant, et vous êtes très intellegent!
Kate: Your smile is very nice!
Max: So, why do you sometimes growl your words? That always had me confused.
Nigel: Ha, pigeon.
Okay, I'm done. I'll see y'all next time with a James Patterson! You don't want to miss that!

If I Were An Android...I Don't Know What I'd Do.
Hello everyone! I know, it's been a day. I said I was going to post this yesterday, but I ended up not doing that because I was still thinking about whether this book was not good enough to not review. I decided to review it. I think mostly because I just like blogging so much! Let's jump right into it!
So, the book that was almost good enough to not review is called Mila 2.0, debut novel of Debra Driza. And, if you want to trust the jacket flap, it's the first of a trilogy! Exciting, isn't it? I wonder what the series title is. I think I'll refer to it as the Mila Trilogy. Anyways, you know you want it - here it is! By the way, that's an Amazon link.
Summaryish: Okay, I just realized something. I've been slaving away to write a nice summary that won't give anything away, but still effectively describes the novel, and look! There's a perfectly nice summary on the jacket flap or back cover of every book!! Wait just a minute. If I use those summaries, it would be plagiarism! Something I am STRONGLY against! It's a crime! And I don't want to go to jail! So I'm just going to say that this book is about a girl who finds out her whole life is a lie, she's an experiment, and the CIA is after her. Then there are all these fun tests!!!
Review: Oh. My. Snap. You know me, when I so oh my snap - you know it's good. And trust me, it was. Read my first paragraph, I almost didn't review it! I must admit, though, at first, I was a little like "Aw man, this book is going to be about horses isn't it?" But then, BAM! It turns out it's a fantastic read about anything but horses! I loved it! It was nicely paced, and I could really connect with Mila. Definitely reserve at the library.
Words to the Characters:
Mila: Don't worry, just because you're a robot doesn't mean you aren't awesome! In fact, robots are really really really awesome. I mean, look at Mr. Data on Next Gen, does he look not awesome to you? Didn't think so.
Holland: Dude, you need some help.
Okay, I'm done here. I hope you enjoyed my review! See you next time in a few days! The book I'm reading now is over 500 pages! Woooo!

I Feel Like a Carbonated Beverage That Someone Has Shaken Relentlessly.
Hello fellow book fanatics!! How very nice to see you! I'm still buzzing about the Wayne Thomas Batson Acknowledgement thing!!! It's just so exciting! My favourite author putting my blog in his book!! I can't wait! Anyways, two posts are happening today! Well, one for sure, I'm still thinking about the other one. I can't decide if it's too good to review or not. Hmm. Anyways, I'm going to get right into it now!
So, a few days ago, actually a long time ago, I finished this book called Crashed by Robin Wasserman of the Skinned trilogy. It's also known as Shattered of the Cold Awakening Trilogy. Either way, it's book two. I reviewed the first book here, so we're on our way to having ANOTHER entire series review on this blog! Happy day! If you would like to own a copy, I would suggest clicking here IMMEDIATELY! Well, not exactly immediately, you can click whenever you want. I just wanted to add a little drama to this post.
Summaryish: Perhaps it would not be wise to summarize today. I mean, it is the second in a series, and I don't want to give away what happened in the first book. But I guess I have to. Or I can completely ignore the first book and just talk about the second. Okay, I'll go with that. So Lia is finally accepting her life as a mech when things go drastically wrong. Her former best friend is testifying against her, (Not in court, just in public) some terrorists blow some stuff up, she's on the run from the law, and all sorts of unpleasant things. Anyways, as her world is crumbling around her, she tries her hardest to save all the other mechs from termination. The end.
Review: Okay, this book way pretty great, although not one of my favourites. Something about it failed to hold my attention, and sometimes I realized I wasn't reading at all, just staring at the ceiling. (I have a really nice ceiling) But other times, I was totally engrossed and flipping pages like a madman. So, all in all, I give this book a B+ for originality, compelling-ness, and style. But I give it a D+ for cover art, not my style. I prefer colorful covers without people on them. I don't know why, though. I just do.
Words to the Characters:
Lia: Your one fault is that you don't seem passionate enough. Maybe you should fix that.
Auden: So even though you got all mean and embittered, you're still my favourite character.
That's all for right now! I need to continue thinking about whether my next post will actually be a post, or a non-post post of unpostfulness. Bye!

And In This Corner, Weighing In At A Staggering Two Ounces....This Book!
Hey everyone!! I'm still buzzing from all the excitement of the last post! But this post is going to be a little different from all my other ones, I'm still going to have Words to the Characters instead of a Page By Page Commentary, but something will be different! I'm tired of this paragraph, on with the post!
So, I just finished this book called Pastworld by Ian Beck, I don't think it's part of a series, it had a pretty ended ending! Oo, this book has a trailer! I just watched it, it has some pretty rough acting in it, but if you want to see it, it's here. I feel like I'm forgetting something...Oh yes! The Amazon link!! Here, you can have it. This paragraph is over.
Summaryish: Alrighty, this book is an easy one to describe, but since I'm bad at this part, I'll do my best. So the year is 2048, and London has been remade into theme park called Pastworld, which is a recreation of Victorian London, and, sadly, that means a lot of murder. It also means Eve, a young lady who doesn't know that she's in a theme park, is being hunted by one of those murderers. Also, a young man's daddy just got kidnapped by the same murderer. Seeing any suspicious connections? I sure am. But, then, I've already read the book, haven't I?
Review: This is where the post gets deviaty-from-the-normy. Why? Because I didn't like the book. Sure it was actiony and suspensy, but that doesn't always constitute a fantastic read. It was well-written, sure, but I didn't like it very much. My attention wandered, and sometimes I'd have to flip back and see what I missed. Other times I was just plain bored. But I am planning to put another Ian Beck on my list, because I like to give authors a fair chance to impress and hook me. Who knows how it will turn out?
Words to the Characters:
Caleb: In this book, you seem really dazed and out of it, I'm sorry I couldn't get to know you better. Maybe that was a reason I disliked this book?
Eve: Wow, rocking the tight-rope. I should do that, it looks fun!
Okay, post equals done. For today at least, I'll be back soon with a Robin Wasserman!! Bye!

I Cannot Contain My Excitement, I Might Spontaneously Combust!
OH MY SNAP I'M SO EXCITED!!! Time for the great news!!!!!! Wayne Thomas Batson is re-releasing his trilogy, The Door Within! All three books are coming out AGAIN on May 7th. Major coincidence: The same day The Savage Blue comes out! But here's what I think is the best part of the news: Because I said the above announcement, MY NAME or at least the 13 Xes that mark the spot of my name, is going to be on the Acknowledgements page of his newest book! Ohmysnapohmysnapohmysnap, I'm so excited! My most favorite author in the world (No offence anyone else) is going to know that my blog exists. Anyways, book time.
So, I just finished this book called School's Out - Forever by James Patterson. Here's some good news! It's the second in the Maximum Ride series! It took me a while to get it, too, because it's so popular. But not so long that I read the first book BB, in fact, here is where you can find where I reviewed the first book! The Amazon link is located right about here. I'm going to warn you ahead of time: Something in this post is going to deviate from the trodden path. I just wanted to warn you so you don't get a heart attack.
Summaryish: This book is all about the continuing saga of Maximum Ride, Human-Bird Mutant Extraordinaire, and the rest of the Flock. In this installment of their epic life, the Flock find a home, not just a house or shelter, but a home. With a nice lady, plenty of food, and even school. A real school, not an evil School with a capital S. Anyways, then its all yanked away and some interesting stuff that I cannot tell you about because of devious little spoilers which I am completely against.
Review: This book was great! It was written in first person, my favourite perspective, and I really got to know Max. I feel like she's my friend, and that made the book even better than it actually was. It was also really well-written and actiony! Suspenseful! Great plot! Nice characters! I didn't want to put it down! But when the words start blurring together on the page, and your eye lids start drooping, you just gotta. I don't know what else to say.
Words to the Characters.
Here's the part that I'm mixing up, instead of Words to the Characters, I'm going to have a page-by-page commentary. (Don't worry, not ALL the pages.)
Page 1: I'm so excited!
Page 45: So far so good!
Page 90: Umm...Okay, this book just lost a touch of it's awesomeness, but I'll go with it.
Page 241: Ha! I knew it.
Page 256: I knew that too.
Page 281-283: GameBoy is one word, isn't it?
Page 297: Umm...I'll go with that too.
Page 344: Things just got good...
Page 399: Snap it's over? Wow...It 12:50 AM, I should probably turn off my light.
Okay, I'm done!!! Okay, it's starting to sink in that WAYNE THOMAS BATSON!!!! Is going to put my Xes into his book....Eep!

I'm Starting To Think It Wouldn't Matter What Faction I Would Get.
Hello everybody!! So nice to see you all!!! I have two whole books to blog about today! I've decided that most of the time, I'm just going to wait and blog twice in one day. Hmm...I think I've said that already, like, two posts ago? I don't know. Okay. I have an announcement to make, but I can't decide whether to tell you about it this post, or next post. Since this paragraph is getting long, I'll just save the awesomazing-fantastic-super-de-duper news until next posts. Yes, I'm just building suspense. Book time!
So, I just finished this book entitled Insurgent by the world famous Veronica Roth! You've probably already guessed this, but it is the second book in what I like to call the -gent series. Officially, though, I think it's called the Divergent Trilogy. I reviewed the first book in the series right about here. And if you would like to purchase the book, you can either Google it, or do the easy thing and click here.
Summaryish: Okay, little warning here, DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT YET EXPERIENCED DIVERGENT!!!!! It is important to your emotional well-being and physical health. INSURGENT SUMMARY BEGINS NOW. So after the simulation the Erudite created that made the Dauntless destroy Abnegation, Tris and the rest of the loyal Dauntless are hiding out in Amity. (I really hope you're not reading this people who haven't read Divergent) But when they discover the Erudite are still plotting the downfall of other factions to get some important information, they go to Candor, then do some stuff, then more stuff happens and then BAM the ending sneaks up on you like a...like a...Hmm. I can't think of a simile. LIKE A CAT! Cat's are sneaky right?
PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT READ DIVERGENT MAY NOW BEGIN READING.
Review: Wowzers! I really really really enjoyed this book! And like Mrs. Roth herself always says, "The only thing I can say is: !!!" Some parts I could have done without, but I guess those same parts added depth to the story. But still, YUCK! I liked how there was a lot of action and plenty of suspense! It was expertly balanced!! I loved it! Oh, and by the way, the next and last book in the Allegiant!! I'm so excited! I think it comes out sometime in October? Wow, that is a long way away...
Words to the Characters:
Tobias: So what's with the whole "Don't risk your life for no reason" thing? I mean, she wasn't risking her life for no reason, she was just trying to feel useful and figure out something that's important to her. It wasn't very nice of you to make her feel bad.
Christina: Great job!!!! (I won't say for what, spoilers, but you know what I'm talking about.)
That's all for this post! I'll be back later for the next one for today AND the amazing news!!!! Bye!

That Happens To Me Allllll The Time.
Hello world! Nice to see you! Isn't it so fitting that I'm reviewing this book on a Thursday? "What book is that, 13-Xes?" you may be asking. Well, I'll tell you in the next paragraph. Just be patient, I promise I will tell you in just one paragraph. We're getting closer, just hang in there. Almost...Almost...Just a little longer....done.
So, I just finished this book called Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde, of the Thursday Next series. See? I told you I would tell you. And now the fact that I'm reviewing this on a Thursday being fitting makes sense to you doesn't it? Moving on. I reviewed the first book in the series here, and will probably be reviewing the next book in the series soon! Anyways, if you want to purchase it, try clicking here. And upon failing to get to the Amazon page, click here instead.
Summaryish: Okay, this book's summaryish is going to be a doozy. Let me think for a second. How about you play solitaire or free cell while you wait? (Insert Jeopardy music) Okay, I got it! After recently defeated her arch enemy Archeron Hades and imprisoning her other arch enemy in Poe's "The Raven," Thursday Next is the target of several coincidental revenge attempts. Also, in an effort to release Jack Schitt from the poem, Goliath Corporation blackmails Ms. Next. In addition, her time-traveling father alerts her to a global catastrophe in the near future. So, she must save the world, learn to bookjump, shake some rice and lentils, and defeat several bad guys all before this book ends. I don't know about you, but I'd be tired after all that. In fact, my fingers are sore just from typing it.
Review: I absolutely ADORE this book! It has action, comedy, more action, dodos, and everything else a good book needs! It sounds kind of like a Douglas Adams when you read it, but just a little bit less wacky-nutty. I wouldn't change one thing about it! It's a fantastic read for those nights when it's really cold, because the constant laughter will keep you warm with or without fleece blankets!
Words to the Characters:
Thursday: I'm still noticing a weird lack of first names. What do you have against first names? I use them all the time, Thursday. Sorry about Landen by the way. And about how Cordelia was bugging you.
Thursday's Daddy: How nice of you! Thanks by the way.
Okay. This is officially the end of this blog post. Or if you want to get all portmanteau about it, this is the end of this blost.
